How it works?
Do you have a cool kick ass idea for a t-shirt design? Then download the S2S Nation t-shirt submission kit below and get started. Once you have downloaded the tee kit, using the templates provided, design your artwork with a program such as Adobe Illustrator (vector), Adobe Photoshop (raster) or Corel Draw (vector: please submit as an .ai file). Please make sure to read over the “Submission Guide” and the “Reasons Why Your Design Might Get Rejected” documents in the t-shirt guide download.
Submit your design!
Once you have designed your shirt on the S2S Nation template. Please submit your original high resolution raster or vector file of your design, your design on our shirt template, and a thumbnail of your design 125 pixels -100 pixels. Please note that you must be signed in order to submit a design. If you are not registered with S2S Nation please click here. You will receive a conformation e-mail once your design has been approved.
Once Your Design Has Been Approved
If your design has been approved for this month’s contest, it’s time to tell all your friends, family, co-workers and even people you just met, to come to the site and vote on your design. The top 5 designs for both men and women will be made in limited edition runs of 500. Designs will be chosen based on the number of votes, the frequency of votes during the contest time period, the user comments, and the ratings given on a scale of 1-5 for “Design Creativity”, "Design Quality" and “Would You Buy This Tee”. However, the most important factor is the average ratings given in the different regions from around the world. For example, if your design is getting high ratings in your region only and everywhere else the ratings are low, the design score will be scaled down. This is so the designs that are chosen are liked universally and not just from one particular region or country. This is also to prevent designers from using many different IP addresses to artificially increase their ratings of their designs. Also please refrain intentionally voting down other designs multiple times. It is fine to vote your opinion on other designs but if you continuously vote other designs 1 star just to decrease their rating, you will risk having your own design disqualified. We are trying to get the best overall designs that everybody loves. If your design wins, it will automatically be entered in the best of the best contest that will run 3 times a year.
The designs that are ranked from 6-15 can read the users comments, make changes if they would like and re-submit the designs for the next month’s contest. We will also be having themed based competitions for up and coming DJ’s, athletes and musicians in the future that win the best video contests. We’ll keep you posted and things develop.
